A lifelong love affair with music
Gloria credits her parents for recognizing and fostering her love for music
starting her musical studies at the age of three at the piano. While she’s continued a life long
love affair with piano, Gloria is also accomplished at violin, flute and viola.
While this classically trained beauty continued her formal studies at the Royal Conservatory of Toronto at the young age of 16 and went on to receive a Bachelor of Music Degree at McGill University, she was also intrigued by popular music and the emerging singer songwriter scene. Captivated by Kate Bush, Tori Amos and others, she began writing and wrote the music to a Country Music Chart hit “Under Your Cover”* at 16.
Ironically, as she performs around the City – belting out Patsy Cline during Stampede, sharing Bach at elite cocktail parties, and sweetly serenading with Silent Night over the holidays – her own personal lyrically captivating compositions have been slow to make it to the ears of the public. Gloria’s life as wife and mother of two beautiful children, and working as an educator made it challenging for Gloria to share her own valuable music.
She’s recently given herself permission to change that.
